The
St. Mary School Advisory Board is a consultative body which assists
in the formation of educational policy and in the financial
administration of the school. Its function and duties are:
To
create better understanding and support of Catholic education.
To
recommend policies governing the operation of the school to
School Administration and Pastor
To
serve as finance committee; to recommend to the pastor for approval
the annual budget and determine sources of funding.
To
coordinate and promote all sources of revenue to meet yearly
budget needs and long-range goals.
To
approve expenditures of all funds raised through voluntary activities
of the Board.
To
provide spiritual, social and recreational opportunities to
school families.
To
represent its constituency.
To
advise in the hiring of the Administrator.
To
be responsible for the development and maintenance of a "Coordinated
Plan", which will address the coming year's needs, resources
and project the same information for the following years.
