Teaching Philosophy and Curriculum
Teaching allows me to share my passion for our natural and physical world. I hope to inspire my students to become responsible stewards of our Earth, with an inquiring mind and an appreciation for themselves and their environment.
I structure my curriculum to reflect a hands-on, inquiry-based format, coordinated to state science standards. Lab reports, from weekly labs conducted in our well-appointed science lab, follow a standard format that closely resembles high school requirements and encourages critical analysis, by the students, of their data.
